"Yeah, we do country. That's our bag. All other music is good, but to us it's a drag!"
A product of the turbulent 1960's, Jack and Roger True were born and raised around Greensboro in the heart of central North Carolina. Lifelong fans of the country and western music genres, they would eventually form their own stage act called True & True. After making a splash on the local music scene, Jack and Roger re-branded themselves in 1994 as the True Brothers for their Nashville concert debut and have been notoriously known as such ever since.
The True Brothers' musical repertoire consists of an eclectic blend of both tributes to country legends (Hank Williams Jr., Webb Pierce and Billy 'Crash' Craddock) and original songs written by Jack himself. To date, the boys have released nearly a dozen albums that run the gamut of country, western, blues, folk, bluegrass and gospel.
